Franklin Knowledge Base
A deeper look at how the basket models are built, because following a theme starts with understanding the design behind it.
What Is A Franklin Basket?
A basket is a model portfolio built around one rail of the intelligence economy. It is split into sleeves, each with a target weight, and follows a written rebalance process. Baskets are designs published by the community; they hold no assets today, and $FRANKLINETF does not give holders a claim on any of them.
Basket Methodology
Each basket is split into sleeves: groups of related exposures such as inference networks or storage. Sleeves keep one sub-theme from crowding out the others.
Illustration only. Not a forecast and not a record of any basket.
How Does A Buffer Sleeve Work?
A buffer sleeve holds cash or ETH instead of thematic exposure. When the rest of the basket falls, the buffer does not, which softens the drop and gives the rebalance something to buy with. The trade-off is simple: a larger buffer means a smaller share of any upside. FK-BUF takes the idea further with an options hedge, and stays a research item until on-chain options are deep enough.
Interactive Weight Calculator
Move the sleeves of any basket and see the mix normalised to 100%. Useful for seeing how much one sleeve has to change before the others notice.
Your mix, normalised to 100%
- CMP-1 · Inference capacity networks30.0%
- CMP-2 · Tokenized accelerator makers25.0%
- CMP-3 · Compute marketplaces20.0%
- CMP-4 · Data center infrastructure15.0%
- CMP-5 · Cash and ETH buffer10.0%
A thinking tool for comparing allocations. It does not trade, it does not know prices and it saves nothing.
